Joseph P. Lattimore
Attorney at Law
My Mission
For most people, a criminal charge brings anxiety and confusion. When you are facing the vast power of the police and the District Attorney's office, you need an experienced, effective advocate to navigate the laws and protect your interests. Since 2003, I have dedicated my practice to fighting for the constitutional rights of the accused.
For 18 years, I have been standing up for people accused of criminal offenses. In your time of need, I will use my experience and zeal to make sure you are treated fairly by our criminal justice system.
My Practice
I have extensive experience defending individuals charged with a variety of criminal offenses in District and Superior Court, including drug possession and distribution crimes, drunk driving, felon in possession of a firearm and other gun offenses, larceny, armed robbery, misdemeanor and felony assaults, and domestic violence matters. I also handle probation violation hearings and petitions to expunge criminal matters.
I have had a great deal of success at trial, both before a judge and jury. Furthermore, my knowledge of search and seizure law has resulted in several successful motions to suppress evidence that was unlawfully obtained by the police.
Finally, my appellate and post-conviction practice allows me to help those who may have received an unlawful sentence or an unfair trial.
